(Atlanta Business Chronicle) Chick-fil-A Inc. has combined its popular fresh-squeezed lemonade and Icedream to create Frosted Lemonade.
The new menu item was created by Chick-fil-A employees to enjoy while on breaks. Atlanta-based Chick-fil-A refined the Frosted Lemonade recipe and formally tested it in restaurants in Charleston, S.C., Raleigh, N.C., Sacramento, Calif., and northwest Arkansas in spring 2014. It launched nationwide on Monday.
Chick-fil-A's lemonade is made from scratch daily at each restaurant using only fresh lemon juice, pure cane sugar and water. Icedream, inspired by founderTruett Cathy's original recipe, is a soft serve ice cream with a vanilla flavor.
