Echoing the on-again, off-again relationships of "Once Upon a Time," alum actor Ethan Embry is back together with ex-wife Sunny Mabrey after their divorce in 2012.
According to Us Weekly, Embry is engaged once again to Mabrey and cited his son as their catalyst for coming back together.
"She maintained a relationship with my son," said the 36-year-old actor.
"He's 15 now, but she would hang out with him once a week you know. So she was always right there and I called her up one day and I said 'The arms distance thing, it's just not working. She came and picked up my son. She drove over to pick up my son, and I came out to say hello and she's wearing my old shirt, my favorite f--king shirt! And it's this vintage Levis plaid number, and she had tied it at the titties."
According to Mabrey, the pair needed the time of separation to work things out individually.
"We needed that time, obviously we did," said Mabrey. "We were just a little bit...a little mixed up. It takes a long time to realize what's important and figure out your own issues. I just think we'd been apart for so long and the love wasn't going away."
Embry, who played Greg Mendell on "Once Upon a Time," said his love life was insane. The actor previously dated Tara Richter.
"God, my love life, it's insane," said Embry. "My ex-wife and I are now dating. We're divorced but when we're out in public. It's just fun to introduce certain people as 'This is my ex-wife so...' We both realized that the past two and a half years without each other was...far more difficult than anything we experienced when we were together."
